Choose the component before applying
There is no single benefit or document list for all of EPM. Applicant category, product, activity dates, eligible expenditure and the relevant bank or implementing route must be checked. Credit remains subject to the lender’s appraisal.
Timing and references matter
Different components have different intent and UIN rules. For interest support, check the current facility specific and financial year requirements with the bank. Do not reuse historical IES references or expired special claim windows.
Disruption related support
Time limited measures such as RELIEF require a separate review of affected routes, shipment periods and claim windows. They should not be treated as a permanent open entitlement.

YOUR QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions.
What does EPM mean?
Export Promotion Mission. It brings together several financial and market readiness support interventions; each has its own conditions.
Does every exporter receive the same benefit?
No. The appropriate component depends on the applicant, product, transaction, activity and applicable eligibility conditions.
Is there one EPM certificate?
The framework contains different interventions and application processes. Start by identifying the relevant support, rather than seeking a universal certificate.
Can EPM help with certification costs?
TRACE concerns eligible compliance expenditure. The specific certification, timing and amended claim conditions must be checked before committing to expenditure.
When should I seek advice?
Before taking the finance facility or incurring expenditure wherever possible. Intent, UIN and claim deadlines differ between components.
Is finance automatically approved?
No. Credit appraisal and sanction remain with the lender; an eligibility review does not guarantee approval.
What records should I share?
Start with IEC, relevant MSME details, product and destination, the support sought and associated activity or finance records. The final filing list is component specific.
Can you guarantee a fixed reimbursement?
No. The admissible amount and approval depend on the applicable conditions and responsible institution. We support the agreed assessment and documentation work.
