MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES

Preparing representation for Audit objection and / Appeal and revision as stated in Chapter 15 (i) of Handbok2002.

Presently many exporters have received Audit objections from Ministry of Finance and Office of Controller and Auditor General of India.

Usual objections are recovery of Excess payments made while approving erstwhile schemes like CCS / REP / SIL / ADVANCE LICENCE etc. We provide legal opinion and legal services though our team of legal experts on the matter related to Audit objections / ECA matters.

Further we undertake to evaluate Audit objections / demands raised by related Departments from our Legal team and prepare replies / attend the personal hearings and represent cases effectively on merits / and on legal grounds as laid down in current as well as old Export Import Policy.

ICEGATE Registration:

We assist exporters and importers in ICEGATE (Indian Customs Electronic Data Interchange Gateway) registration for electronic filing of import and export documents.

AD Code Registration at Customs:

Every exporter must have an AD (Authorised Dealer) Code registered at the customs port before the first export shipment. We assist in AD Code registration to enable customs filing of the Shipping Bill.

Certificate of Origin (COO):

We assist in obtaining Certificates of Origin both non-preferential / preferential (from Export Inspection Agency / Chamber of Commerce) and preferential (under FTAs like ASEAN, SAFTA, CAROTAR 2020).

Application for Fixation of Norms:

When Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) do not exist or do not match the actual manufacturing process for a given export product, manufacturers can apply for ad-hoc norms fixation by the DGFT Norms Committee. We prepare and file these applications with complete technical justification.

Application for Import Monitoring System (SIMS / PAPER / ALUMINIM / CHIP ETC.,):

All imports into India require prior registration under the Import Monitoring System. We assist importers in obtaining registration.

REX (Registered Exporter) Registration:

We assist Indian exporters in obtaining REX (Registered Exporter) status for availing preferential tariffs under trade agreements with the EU and other countries.

Interest Equalisation Scheme (IES):

The Interest Equalisation Scheme (IES) is an export promotion initiative by the Government of India and the RBI that provides an interest subsidy on rupee export credit. It lowers borrowing costs for MSME manufacturers and eligible merchant exporters on pre- and post-shipment loans to help them compete internationally
