What is Policy Relaxation?
DGFT is committed to easy and speedy redressal of grievances from Trade and Industry. Paragraph 2.58 of FTP provides for relaxation of Policy and Procedures on grounds of genuine hardship and adverse impact on trade. A Policy Relaxation Committee (PRC) is accordingly constituted under para 2.58 of the Foreign Trade Policy. DGFT may in public interest pass such orders or grant such exemption, relaxation or relief, as he may deem fit and proper, on grounds of genuine hardship and adverse impact on trade to any person or class or category of persons from any provision of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) or any Procedures. While granting such exemption, DGFT may impose such conditions as he may deem fit after consulting the Committees.
Pre-Requisites for Applying for Policy Relaxation
IEC is required to apply for any Policy Relaxation. Other pre-requisites as mentioned in the Chapter 2 of Foreign Trade Policy and Handbook of Procedures may be referred.
To Apply for ANF-2D (PRC) on the DGFT portal you would require:
User is active and logged into the DGFT Customer Portal.
User is authorized to draft and submit applications for an IEC.
IEC should not be cancelled or suspended. User will not be able to submit the application if IEC is cancelled or suspended.
User is e-Sign enabled. User can sign or validate the PRC application with the Aadhaar or digital signature (DSC)

Q1. What are the mandatory documents for filing of PRC application?
There is no document mandatory for the filling PRC application. However, you may attach any other supporting document to your application by selecting other option in attachment section
Q2. What is the fee for PRC application?
As per Appendix 2K, following are the fee applicable.

You may apply any number of times for the review application.
Note: Fee needs to be paid for every file of review application separately.
